Located at Concordia’s Loyola Campus in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG), the community garden is the People's Potato's main summer project. Our goal is to provide a space that encourages volunteer participation while giving community members access to fresh, organic vegetables.

We are incredibly grateful for the collaboration and support that keeps our garden growing:
Solidarity Partners: In the past, we have worked alongside groups such as MUCS (Montreal Urban Community Sustainment), the NDG Food Depot, and the Head and Hands young parents program.
Financial Support: Generously provided by the Sustainability Action Fund and the Concordia Student Union.
Materials and Supplies: Thank you to Concordia’s Facilities Management for materials, and the Concordia Greenhouse for providing most of our organic seedlings.
Thank you!
The People’s Potato is a vegan soup kitchen at Concordia University - a student initiated project that was founded in 1999 in order to address student poverty and the lack of affordable food options on campus.
